A brief introduction...
I work closely with students, parents, teachers and external stakeholders to ensure that my students receive the support they need to excel both in the classroom and after graduation.
I will share more about myself and my approach to supporting students with SEN through the video. I look forward to work together with you (parents and teachers) to create a positive and supportive learning experience for your child / student.
WHAT INSPIRES ME AS A SEN OFFICER
I believe that teaching students with SEN is most effective when done collaboratively, involving families, teachers, and specialists.
I believe that every student learns at their own pace and in their own way, so teaching students requires patience, flexibility, and modification of teaching strategies to meet each student's needs.
I see education as nurturing the whole child, which implies that students are to be supported not just academically, but emotionally and mentally too.
I believe that the continuous advancements in technology create opportunities to tailor educational experiences, allowing us to address individual needs and break down barriers.
I believe that teaching students with SEN requires continuous reflection and growth. I will stay updated on new EdTech tools and strategies that promote engagement and support diverse learners.
By incorporating these technologies into my sessions and encouraging teacher participation, my students can learn, grow, and become more resilient learners, better prepared to face future uncertainties.
